Worksheet
An image of the Make a Whole with Hundredths Varied Fluency Resource

Use this Year 4 Make a Whole with Hundredths Varied Fluency resource to reinforce the concept of what a whole is. Pupils see three different representations of a whole made from hundredths: a part-whole model, a metre stick; and a hundred square. In each case, they use complements to 100 to calculate how many hundredths are required to make a whole.

There are two similar parts to each question to ensure children gain in confidence.

An answer sheet is included to support teachers and to enable pupils to mark their own work.

A reasoning and problem solving resource is also available for this small step.
