At Classroom Secrets, we know that preparation is the key to a great success. That's why we've created this fun and engaging Year 4 Multiply and Divide by 9 Prior Learning worksheet. This resource is designed as a stepping stone activity for children to work through a set of objectives, found in both year 3 and earlier in year 4, in order to prepare them for the main learning in this lesson. This worksheet consists of three varied fluency questions, two reasoning questions and one problem-solving question all based on the three or six times tables.

We'd recommend using this ready-to-complete worksheet at the beginning of your lesson as a starter activity. You'll soon get a good understanding of what children already know and where to take your lesson. Alternatively, this could be used as a homework activity or form a task in an intervention program. The choice is yours! An easy-to-follow answer page is provided to speed up marking too.
