Before children move on to the quadrilaterals step, why not make sure they are feeling comfortable and secure with this Year 4 Quadrilaterals activity. It recaps the key skills needed for the quadrilaterals step, by focussing on questions from the previous Year 3 steps: Recognise and Describe 2D Shapes and Parallel and Perpendicular. The resource is made up of varied fluency and reasoning and problem-solving questions and comes with a handy answer sheet for children to self-mark or peer mark.

Curriculum Objectives

  • Draw 2-D shapes
