Learn about the events of 1066 with our Year 4 Reading Skills 1066 The Newspaper resource. Created in the style of a newspaper, children will focus upon the features of newspapers and the events of 1066 from different perspectives. This resource develops skills in retrieving information, making predictions and inferences, linking ideas, drawing comparisons and summarising. Pupils will also focus upon the effect on language on the reader.
