Help your class make the connections between multiplication and division by using this Year 4 Related Facts - Multiplication and Division Teaching PowerPoint. Children will investigate how multiplication and division facts scale by 10 and 100. For example, they might use the fact that 5 × 6 = 30 to work out 5 × 60 = 300 and 5 × 600 = 3,000. They then apply the same idea to division.
