Let your class apply their paragraph skills with our Year 4 Using Paragraphs Application and Reasoning resource. We've taken the time to differentiate this resource into three levels of challenge to offer you the choice of how to use it in your class. Children will face two reasoning style questions and an application style questions, with two of each type to help them build their confidence. Each of the questions meets the following statement from the National Curriculum: English Year 3: Introduction to paragraphs as a way to group related material.

You can use this as an independent activity in class following your teaching input and a set of varied fluency questions. These can be found within the accompanying lesson resources. Alternatively, children can work through this resource in small groups or pairs to open up the discussion within your class. To make marking easy, we've included an answer page for you too.
