This Year 4 Using Pronouns Teaching PPT builds on children's existing knowledge of nouns and pronouns and helps them progress towards using pronouns correctly in their writing.

Following two starter questions which recap on what they know already, children begin to identify words that need to be replaced in a sentence and select appropriate pronouns to do this. Modelled examples of a variety of questions, from fluency to reasoning and application are provided, along with the answers.
