Use this Year 5 Add Decimals (Different Number of Decimal Places) Varied Fluency resource to give your pupils practice adding decimals with different numbers of decimal places. The first question supports their calculation visually with a place value chart whilst in the second question, they progress onto using the formal written method. In the third question, they get repeated practice using this method. In a final challenge, they order their answers in the third question from smallest to largest.
