Help children build their confidence in finding factor pairs by downloading this Year 5 Common Factors varied fluency resource. We've created four different question styles for children to put their skills into practice. Each question type has two examples to allow children multiple opportunities to understand the skills involved to cover these objectives. This resource has been differentiated three ways to support all learners. Below is a brief outline as to how our differentiated is tailored to each level of challenge:

Developing: Questions to support systematically finding the common factors of two numbers. Includes the common factors 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 and use of arrays.

Expected: Questions to support systematically finding the common factors of two numbers. Includes the common factors 1 – 12 and use of some arrays.

Greater Depth: Questions to support finding the common factors of two numbers. Includes the common factors of up to 12 and beyond.

An ideal resource for independent learning following your teaching input. Alternatively, this could be used in an intervention group to further challenge or offer additional support when needed. We've added an easy to follow answer sheet great for peer or self marking or to speed up the time you spend on marking.
