This Year 5 Compare Volume resource is a prior learning task, a recap of previous steps to ensure that children are ready to go on the main step of comparing volume. The worksheet is made up of six different questions, three varied fluency and three reasoning and problem-solving, which help to secure children's knowledge of calculating volume, both as a liquid, and through counting cubes. Once secure with this, we believe children will find the task of comparing volume much easier! An answer sheet is also provided to help speed up the marking process.
