This Year 5 Equivalent Fractions and Decimals (Tenths) Reasoning and Problem Solving resource will challenge your pupils to apply their knowledge that tenths can be written as both fractions and decimals. Questions 1 and 2 require pupils to check whether an answer is correct and explain their thinking. In question 3, they use a limited set of numbers to complete an equivalency statement in two different ways. Each question has two parts to promote confidence and independence.

An answer sheet is included for easy marking for busy teachers and self marking by pupils.
