Our Year 5 Homophones Resource Pack 1 contains a teaching PowerPoint and five worksheets to help your pupils learn to read and spell a number of common homophones. The worksheets include a wordsearch, a crossword, a criss-cross activity, a word list and a spot the mistake activity.

The PowerPoint can be used to introduce and discuss a range of homophones. Pupils are asked to match the homophones to their meaning. The accompanying worksheets can then be completed in class, in an intervention group, or as homework.
