Use this Year 5 Multiply Mixed Numbers by Integers Reasoning and Problem Solving resource to challenge pupils further as they multiply mixed numbers by a whole number. The first two reasoning questions require children to check answers and explain the steps which they would take to solve a calculation. The last question is problem solving and, this time, they are changing the integer to create a number of different answers.
