Use this Year 5 Perimeter of Rectangles Fluency Matrix resource to give your class more practice measuring and calculating the perimeter of rectangles.

There six fluency questions which gradually increase in their level of challenge with each step. To begin with, images are provided to support children. Then, lengths and widths, including those with half centimetre measurements, are introduced without images. By the end of the resource, children will be calculating with half centimetres and without images to rely on.

An answer sheet is provided to help busy teachers and students who may be marking their own work.
