Use this Year 5 Perimeter of Rectilinear Shapes Reasoning and Problem Solving resource to help children apply their fluency skills in finding the perimeter of rectilinear shapes to reasoning and problem solving challenges.

The resource features two types of reasoning questions to ask children to explain their ideas, and one type of problem solving challenge to encourage them to consider a range of possibilities. Each question has two versions, which will build confidence as they progress through the worksheet. An answer sheet is provided to enable quick and easy marking, self-marking or peer marking.
