Use this Year 5 Round to the Nearest 100 (Recap) Varied Fluency resource to review the rules of rounding with your class before the end of the year.

Each of the three questions focuses on rounding 5 or 6-digit numbers to the nearest 100. Numbers are presented in a variety of ways using digits, words and a place value chart. The final question uses a function machine to present the question in different way again.

An answer sheet is provided for busy teachers and children who may be marking their own work. A reasoning and problem solving resource is also available for this small step.
