National Curriculum Objectives:

Mathematics Year 2: (2N1) Count in steps of 2, 3 and 5, from 0, and in tens from any number, forward or backward
Mathematics Year 2: (2C6) Recall and use multiplication and division facts for the 2, 5
and 10 multiplication tables, including recognising odd and even numbers
Mathematics Year 2: (2C7) Calculate mathematical statements for multiplication and division within the multiplication tables and write them using the multiplication (×), division (÷) and equals (=) signs

About this resource:
This resource is aimed at Year 2 pupils and incorporates questions linked to 2, 5 and 10 multiplication facts, counting in 3s and subtracting 10 for numbers up to 50. Children can choose to work out the correct set of statistics for each card first or play the game ‘live’ where the correct statistics will need to be worked out during each turn.
