Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Join each sentence to the type of preposition used. Most frequently used prepositions of time, place and cause (for example: because of, on, by, from) in simple and compound sentences.
Expected Join each sentence to the type of preposition used. Questions to consolidate recognising and using prepositions of time, place and cause (all developing words, plus: about, as a result of, between, after, beyond, around, across, behind, etc) in multi-clause sentences.
Greater Depth Record the type of prepositions used and join each sentence to the type used. Questions to consolidate recognising and using prepositions of time, place and cause in multi-clause sentences, (developing and expected words, plus: despite, except, on account of, throughout, towards, upon, etc).
