English Year 4: (4G3.2) Noun phrases expanded by the addition of modifying adjectives, nouns and preposition phrases (e.g. the teacher expanded to: the strict maths teacher with curly hair)

Differentiation:

Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Match each noun in a single-clause sentence to the type of modifier which is attached to it. Only single modifiers are used.
Expected Match each noun in a multi-clause sentence to the type of modifier which is attached to it. Multiple modifiers are sometimes used with the same noun.
Greater Depth Match each noun in a multi-clause sentence to the type of modifier which is attached to it. Multiple modifiers, as well as adverbs and/or prepositions are used.

Questions 2, 5 and 8 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Label the nouns and adjectives in the given single-clause sentence. Only single modifiers are used.
Expected Label the nouns and adjectives in the given multi-clause sentence. Multiple modifiers are sometimes used with the same noun.
Greater Depth Label the nouns and adjectives in the given multi-clause sentence. Multiple modifiers, as well as adverbs and/or prepositions are used.

Developing Expand the noun phrases in a single-clause sentence by using modifiers which fit the given criteria. Only single modifiers are used.
Expected Expand the noun phrases in a multi-clause sentence by using modifiers which fit the given criteria. Multiple modifiers are sometimes used with the same noun.
Greater Depth Expand the noun phrases in a multi-clause sentence by using modifiers which fit the given criteria. Multiple modifiers, as well as adverbs and/or prepositions are used.
