What's included?
Essential Year 1 resources for recognising sentences, building on core KS1 Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling objectives for sentence structure. Materials develop conceptual understanding by helping pupils identify complete thoughts and separate them from non-sentences. This foundational small step supports all subsequent work on punctuation and is a key requirement for national curriculum writing mastery. The CS Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Scheme provides activities to hone sentence recognition skills.
