National Curriculum Objectives
Mathematics Y1: C​​ount, read and write numbers to 100 in numerals; count in multiples of twos, fives and tens
Mathematics Y2: C​ount in steps o​f 2, 3, and 5 from 0, and in tens from any number, forward and backward​

Differentiation:

Beginner Counting on from a given number in steps of one. Aimed at Year 1 Emerging.

Easy Counting on from a given number in steps of two or five. Starting number is a multiple of two or five. Aimed at Year 1 Developing.

Tricky Counting on from a given number in steps of two, five or ten. Starting number is a multiple of two, five or ten. Aimed at Year 1 Secure/Year 2 Emerging.

Expert Counting on from a given number in steps of two, five or ten. Starting number is not a multiple of two or  ten. Aimed at Year 1 Mastery/Year 2 Developing.

Brainbox Counting on from a given number in steps of two, five or ten. Starting number is not a multiple of two or ten​.​ Aimed at Year 2 Secure.

Genius Counting on from a given number in steps of two, five or ten. Starting number is not a multiple of two, five or ten​.​ Aimed at Year 2 Mastery.
