Differentiation:
Beginner All words are separate and have an 'er' sound to underline. Aimed at Year 1 Emerging.
Easy All words are separate. Some have an 'er' sound to underline. Some words have no 'er' sound. Aimed at Year 1 Developing.
Tricky Words are in a rhyming text. Some have an 'er' sound to underline. Aimed at Year 1 Secure/Year 2 Emerging.
Expert Words are in a text. Some have an 'er' sound to underline. There are other sounds to be ignored such as ir and ur. The word very is also featured which must not be underlined. Aimed at Year 1 Mastery/Year 2 Developing.
