Developing Identify the words that have all the vowels underlined. Using CVC/CVCC/CCVC words.
Expected Identify the sentence that has all the vowels underlined. Most words used are from the Year 2 spelling list with some words from the Year 3 and 4 spelling list.
Greater Depth Identify the multi-clause sentence that has all the vowels underlined. Using words from the Year 3 and 4 spelling list.

Questions 2, 5 and 8 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Sort the given words into the table. Using the short and long ‘a’ vowel sound in CVC/ CVCC/CCVC words.
Expected Sort the given words into the table. Using short and long vowel sounds. Most words used are from the Year 2 spelling list with some words from the Year 3 and 4 spelling list.
Greater Depth Sort the given words into the table. Using the number of vowel sounds in a word. Most words from the Year 3 and 4 spelling list.
