Beginner Includes 3 different text types (narrative, newspaper article and non-chronological report) followed by questions requiring children to identify two examples from the text. Aimed at Year 3 Secure/Year 4 Developing/Year 5 Emerging.
Easy Includes 3 different text types (narrative, newspaper article and non-chronological report) including more challenging vocabulary, followed by more questions requiring children to identify two examples from the text. Aimed at Year 3 Mastery/Year 4 Secure/Year 5 Developing/Year 6 Emerging.
Tricky Includes 4 different text types (narrative, newspaper article, non-chronological report and instructional) including challenging vocabulary, followed by trickier questions requiring children to identify two examples from the text. Aimed at Year 4 Mastery/Year 5 Secure/Year 6 Developing.
Expert Includes 4 different text types (narrative, newspaper article, non-chronological report and instructional) including more challenging vocabulary, followed by more demanding questions requiring children to identify two examples from the text. Aimed at Year 5 Mastery/Year 6 Secure.
