Y1 Grammar Punctuation and Spelling
This Capital Letters for Places lesson covers the prior learning of Capital Letters for Names of Places and 'I', before moving onto the main skill of recognising and using capital letters for places.
The lesson starts with a prior learning activity to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for that step. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning with engaging reasoning and application tasks.
