Year 3 24 Hour Clock
This Year 3 24-hour Clock lesson covers the prior learning of telling the time using am and pm, before moving onto the main skill of telling the time on a 24-hour digital clock.
The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.

Mathematics Year 3: (3M4d) Estimate and read time with increasing accuracy to the nearest minute; record and compare time in terms of seconds, minutes and hours; use vocabulary such as o’clock, a.m./p.m., morning, afternoon, noon and midnight
