Measure Perimeter Lesson

This Year 3 Measure Perimeter lesson covers the prior learning of adding and subtracting lengths, before moving onto the main skill of measuring the perimeter of 2D shapes.

The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for the steps here and here. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
