Multiply by 3 Lesson

This Year 3 Multiply by 3 lesson covers the prior learning of add equal groups and counting in 3s, before moving onto the main skill of multiplying by 3.

The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for that step here and here. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
