Circles Lesson
This Year 6 Circles lesson covers the prior learning of using scale factors, before moving onto the main skill of naming parts of a circle and recognising the relationship between radius and diameter.
The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.

Mathematics Year 6: (6G5) Illustrate and name parts of circles, including radius, diameter and circumference and know that the diameter is twice the radius
