Y6 Maths
This Year 6 Multiply Fractions by Integers lesson covers the prior learning of multiplying unit and non-unit fractions by integers, before moving onto the main skill of multiplying mixed numbers by integers.
The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for the prior learning steps here and here. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
