Who Let The Gods Out? Chapter 13 Comprehension for Whole Class Guided Reading includes differentiated questions and activities based on chapter thirteen of the popular novel by Maz Evans. We recommend using this novel with Year 5 & Year 6. In this chapter, Hermes takes Elliot and Virgo to the golf club where his dad (Zeus) is getting married again. When they arrive, they see the latest bride trying to get out of her car but her dress is too big. This gives them enough time to go and find Zeus at the front of the ceremony. Virgo is star-struck and can't get her words out in time to tell Zeus about the problem with Thanatos. As the bride comes down the aisle, she get stuck again so Zeus goes to rescue her. He accidently pulls her out of her dress and they land in the chocolate fountain. Meanwhile, another bride has shown up at the golf club and the wedding party descends into chaos. Zeus, Virgo and Elliot escape on Pegasus while Hermes jumps on his motorbike. Pegasus flies into the air and they leave the manic party behind.
