Differentiation:

Varied Fluency
Developing Using question openers in sentences; using vocabulary that is phonetically decodable, as well as some high frequency words, and does not feature split digraphs.
Expected Using question openers in sentences; using vocabulary is phonetically decodable using knowledge of all taught sounds needed for the phonics screening.
Greater Depth Using question openers in sentences; using vocabulary that includes words made up of all taught sounds as well as words taken from the Year 1 spelling lists.

Application and Reasoning
Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Application)
Developing Rearrange the words to create a question, all of the words are used, only one question word is given and sentence stem is provided. Sentences use vocabulary that is phonetically decodable, as well as some high frequency words, and does not feature split digraphs.
Expected Rearrange the words to create a question, all of the words are used, only one question word is given. Sentences include vocabulary that is phonetically decodable and uses knowledge of all taught sounds needed for the phonics screening.
Greater Depth Rearrange the words to create a question, some of the words are not used, more than one question word is given. Vocabulary includes words made up of all taught sounds as well as words taken from the Year 1 spelling lists.
