Greater Depth Questions to support recognising noun phrases with modifying adjectives, nouns, prepositional phrases within complex sentences, for example ‘The small brown dog under the tree, who had been very naughty, quivered in anticipation’.

Application and Reasoning
Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Application)
Developing Improve a given sentence by adding two adjectives from a choice.
Expected Improve a given sentence by adding adjectives or a prepositional phrase.
Greater Depth Improve a given sentence by adding adjectives and a preposition phrase.
