Children will enjoy tracing along the dashed lines to help the Arctic animals reach their matching food – an arctic fox bounding towards a lemming, a narwhal swimming after a halibut, and a puffin diving down to catch some fish.

Pupils can begin by using their fingers to carefully follow the zig-zag, wavy and curved arc lines before progressing to pencils to strengthen their pencil control, hand–eye coordination and confidence. The different line patterns have been thoughtfully designed to replicate the movements needed for early letter formation, helping to build strong foundations for writing.
