Explore this well-known nursery rhyme through physical activities with our EYFS Jack and Jill Physical Development resource! These ideas are adult-led with a clear and easy to follow structure. There are four different and engaging games included which link to the nursery rhyme. A session could involve all the activities or a selection based on the needs of the children.

It covers the following objectives for children in reception:

Revise and refine the fundamental movement skills they have already acquired: - rolling - crawling - walking - jumping - running - hopping - skipping - climbing

Develop confidence, competence, precision and accuracy when engaging in activities that involve a ball.
