Have fun re-enacting the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill with our role play masks. This resource allows children to retell the nursery rhyme demonstrating their understanding of the narrative using props. As an extra activity, how about hot-seating both Jack and Jill to explore their emotions and feelings! Children can also develop their fine motor skills through cutting out the masks.

It covers the following objectives for children:

3 and 4 year olds

Know many rhymes, be able to talk about familiar books, and be able to tell a long story.

Children in Reception

Retell the story, once they have developed a deep familiarity with the text, some as exact repetition and some in their own words.
