These EYFS Little Miss Muffet Physical Development Activities are adult-led with a clear and easy to follow structure. There are four different and engaging games, all which link to the nursery rhyme. A session could involve all the activities or a selection based on the needs of the children.

It covers the following objectives for children in reception

Revise and refine the fundamental movement skills they have already acquired: - rolling - crawling - walking - jumping - running - hopping - skipping - climbing

Confidently and safely use a range of large and small apparatus indoors and outside, alone and in a group.

Develop overall body-strength, balance, co-ordination and agility.

Develop confidence, competence, precision and accuracy when engaging in activities that involve a ball.
