Get active with our EYFS Ten Green Bottles Physical Development resource! We've included five activities, each with a clear and easy to follow structure. Children will work individually, in pairs and in groups to complete tasks based upon this well-known nursery rhyme. A session could involve all the activities or a selection based on the needs of the children.

It covers the following objectives for children in reception:

Revise and refine the fundamental movement skills they have already acquired: - rolling - crawling - walking - jumping - running - hopping - skipping - climbing

Confidently and safely use a range of large and small apparatus indoors and outside, alone and in a group.

Develop overall body-strength, balance, co-ordination and agility.
