This EYFS Build a Number Line Learning Activity enables children to use superheroes to practise the skill of subitising! Children can work alone or in pairs to create a number line to 20 before putting the cards in descending order for a further challenge!
It covers the following objectives for children in reception:
(M-22) Subitise.
(M-24) Count beyond ten.
(M-25) Compare numbers.
Curriculum Objectives
- Have a deep understanding of number to 10, including the composition of each number
- Subitise (recognise quantities without counting) up to 5
- Automatically recall (without reference to rhymes, counting or other aids) number bonds up to 5 (including subtraction facts) and some number bonds to 10, including double facts
