Our winter-themed EYFS Subitising Peg Activity Cards enable children to practise their counting and numeral recognition in an independent context. Children can subitise the small amounts, or count using one-to-one correspondence, and then select the corresponding numeral by placing a clothes peg in the correct place. Alternatively, the cards showing number pieces can be provided which will support children's quick recognition of the maths manipulative.

(M-21) Count objects, actions and sounds.

(M-22) Subitise.

(M-23) Link the number symbol (numeral) with its cardinal number value.
