Set 2: Longer text with additional detail and slightly more challenging vocabulary. Ten comprehension questions including retrieval, inference and simple explanation. Aimed at Year 1 Mastery / Year 2 Secure / Year 3 Emerging.
Set 3: Expanded narrative with richer vocabulary and greater historical detail. Thirteen questions including retrieval, vocabulary, inference and explanation. Aimed at Year 2 Mastery / Year 3 Secure / Year 4 Emerging.
Set 4: More sophisticated vocabulary, literary references and quotations from Shakespeare's play. Seventeen questions covering retrieval, inference, vocabulary, grammar and language analysis. Aimed at Year 3 Mastery / Year 4 Secure / Year 5 Emerging.
Set 5: Detailed retelling with historical context and additional 'Did You Know?' sections. Twenty-one questions requiring retrieval, inference, vocabulary, explanation and analysis of the writer's techniques. Aimed at Year 4 Mastery / Year 5 Secure / Year 6 Emerging.
Set 6: Most challenging version with advanced vocabulary, literary context and discussion of Shakespeare's purpose and structure. Twenty-four questions requiring evidence-based explanations and analytical thinking. Aimed at Year 5 Mastery / Year 6 Secure.
