This KS2 Endangered Animals Discussion Points Worksheet is a great starting point to kick off a conversation about endangered species.

The worksheet asks three key questions to get pupils thinking about key issues surrounding the world's endangered species, with a focus on how humans can protect animals at risk of extinction. This activity is perfect for helping pupils understand how animals become endangered and how human activity contributes to rising extinction rates. It can be completed as a class, in small groups or individually to encourage deeper thinking about the status of endangered animals. Sample answers are provided to support teacher delivery and help prompt discussion. The worksheet is an ideal companion to our other resources dedicated to endangered species, including for use as part of Endangered Species Day. It is also suitable for use as part of Science, Geography and Sustainability topics.
