Look no further than our Key Stage 2 European Day of Languages Find Your Partner French Activity. This resource includes a teaching PowerPoint that introduces children to several questions and possible answers. These vary in difficulty and are based on basic French greetings or sayings. There is also a resource that includes a set of instructions and a set of question and answer cards in both French and English.

You can use this in a range of different ways and here are some of our favourites: guide children through the slides on the PowerPoint, give children either a question card or an answer card. Children could be given a time limit on how long they have to find their partner. You could make the challenge more difficult by removing the English translation or only allowing children to speak in French. You could display the question cards around the classroom and children have to move to their question card based on the answer card they have; the choice in how you use this resource is up to you!
