Provide conversation starts with our KS2 Parliament Week Debate Cards. This resource includes four pages of debate cards which can be printed and provided to groups of children to discuss. To set this up as a debate, it may be worthwhile to split the children into sides and select one children to act as chair for the debate.

It covers topics such as voting rights, rules around MPs and reviewing laws. This could be an ideal resource to use as part of UK Parliament Week, or simply as an activity to explore democracy and elections.
