This guided reading pack focuses on Chapter 1 of this touching story and covers each reading domain in turn. Whether you want to focus on one or two domains, or look at them all, children will not only enjoy the story but also benefit from their analysis of its language and narrative structure.

In addition to questions for each reading domain, there is also a section which focuses on practising written answers. This is designed to help children become familiar and confident answering the kinds of questions they could face on an assessment paper.
