This KS2 Rise and Read Anti-Bullying Week resource includes four reading activities and is suitable for use in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. It could be displayed on the whiteboard as early morning work, used in reading or PSHE lessons or even as a stimulus in assemblies. However you choose to use it, children will not only sharpen their reading skills but also learn more about this important topic.

The pack includes a short story, a non-fiction text, an image and a letter. These lead to questions which focus on a variety of reading skills: retrieval, inference, vocabulary, purpose and prediction. There is also an assessment style question.

This resource does not require any printing as it has been specially designed to be displayed on the whiteboard.
