This KS2 Who Let the Gods Out? Chapter 23 whole class guided reading includes differentiated questions and activities based on chapter twenty-three of the popular novel by Maz Evans. In chapter 23, Elliot, Virgo, Zeus and Pegasus are suddenly with the other Gods at the Tower of London. Athene takes charge and reminds everyone of their roles. Just as she sends Elliot and Virgo with Pegasus, Hypnos shows up and uses his powers to turn the beefeaters against the Gods. Elliot steals Hypnos' trumpet to help the Gods but they still end up in a mess. Elliot watches as the Imperial State Crown is loaded into the middle truck but is distracted by Hypnos when the trucks set off. He and Virgo decide to ride Pegasus to Buckingham Palace while the other Gods are still in a muddle from their fight with Hypnos and the beefeaters.
