After all the children’s hard work drawing inspiration from the book, it is now time for them to produce an amazing piece of descriptive writing. First, we need to take some time to pull together what they have learnt and allow them the time to practise writing an amazing sentence to include in their writing. There are key areas of focus provided to help guide pupils in their planning as well as a word bank to promote a rich vocabulary.

There is a version of these worksheets included in our teaching PowerPoint too which could be displayed on the working wall and added to over the course of the lessons.
