Please note that we do not have reading skills resources for every chapter of this book. Every effort has been made to ensure a wide range of questions have been included in the chapters we have resourced, covering each content domain.

So, you've made it to chapter 14 of David Almond's Skellig and are looking for a great selection of questions for your guided reading session? Well, look no further than this Skellig Chapter 14 Reading Skills pack! As you read through with your class or smaller group, enjoy using the first section of the pack, which provides a wide selection of comprehension questions arranged by reading content domain and covering all eight of them. Answers are provided to make things nice and easy!

After that, you may also like to use the written answer practice sheet we've included in this pack. The questions in this section mimic the ones found in SATs reading papers and thus are a great way to introduce your children to this style. The questions also help pupils to grow in skill and confidence when producing longer written answers. Again, everything comes with answers on a separate sheet. Fantastic!
