After all the children’s hard work drawing inspiration from the book, it is now time for them to plan an amazing piece of writing of their own. First, we need to take time to pull together what they have learnt and allow them to practise writing some amazing sentences to include in their writing. There are key areas of focus provided to help guide pupils as well as a word bank to promote a rich vocabulary.

There is a version of these worksheets included in our teaching PowerPoint which could be displayed on the working wall and added to over the course of the lessons.
